I am new to this site but have 35 years on this planet 33 of them in SO.CAL!!!BEEAWTCH!!BETTER WRECKUNIZE! Anyway cops have hassled me since I started driving at 13!!!So i was underage ...so what!!! I still had the ability to drive! However, we (import tuners) are the 21st century HOT-RODDERS and back in the day the PO-PO would give them as much if not more of a hard time as they give us!(see american graffiti)We share the same ability to make something that shouldn't go fast , go fast!! You should see thier face when they pull over a 34 yr old doing 73 in a 35 and axpect to see a 16 or 17 yr old in the drivers seat!!! I know I am being irresponsible and all... But DAMN IT'S FUN!!!Anyway do what is legal and when u don't ...don' bitch about getting caught!!! So cal especially has the toughest laws cuz we have the most chases.Which in turn gives us "ricers" a bad name cuz approx. 80% are in imports!!!The other 20% aretweekers who stole somethin'!!!Anyway have fun but overall be safe!! Remember there are children on the road with u too! I have a 10 yr old and an 8 yr old that love to go fast!!! But I would Kill the idiot that crashes into me cuz they have more car than they can handle!!! SOCAL LUV!!! p.s. yeah the cops suck but the weather is AWSOME!!!!

Dude so much to say so little time!!First on the search warrant thing...Police don't NEED a search warrant unless the DA is try to build a case against u!!!What they need is called "Reasonable Suspiscion".This means they have a suspiscion that u are up to no good.This usually applies to drugs or DUI.Second, If u tell them they can't search ur vrhicle this raises they're suspiscion and they will arrest u and impound ur car.Then they will get a warrant and tear ur car apart!This is most likely to be ugly cuz even if u don't have illegal upgrades on yo stuff they will not reassemble what they take apart!! So when u get out of jail(approx 72 hrs later) u will not only have a pile of parts that used to be a car u will have to pay impound and towing fees!!!Most cops aren't gonna know what is and isn't legal,with the exception of nitrous, anyway.So as long as u have 50 state legal parts and the OE(Original Equipment Replacment)sticker or papers that come with aftermarket stuff u should be cool!
