two words LOW BALL! remeber u can always offer more but once u offer higher you can't go back down. this is how negotiations work you offer like em 5k they counter offer with like 5500, and since no one is really interested in the car but you it gives you more leverage. They will be hesitant to not sell the car at say 5500 when they're not gettin any other offers. good luck
