Ok Ive been busy with work and school and what not, so I havent really been able to post, but I bought the Impreza. Drove her home Saturday. And bought a new stereo for her and put it in that night. And this morning it way raining, and I wasnt paying attention, the person in front of me hit the breaks cause of damn California traffic, and I slammed on mine, and they didnt lock or anything! I stopped beautifully! If I were driving the Mustang this morning, I probably woulda been in the persons back seat!
and you thought I was kidding about the safety peformance. lol.

btw, here's more helpful advice. You'll eventually start creeping over to subie sites and to make a long story short: they hate civics. lol.

and many of their owners are asstards, but just as many aren't.

here's some more helpful advice: base model imprezas and WRXs have notoriously cheap speaker cones. You already upgraded the stereo. Upgrade the speakers eventually, if they're still stock.

^Exactlyyy haha.

drbyers.. I see now what you meant about the safety! And before I bought the car I checked out a subie forum, but I didnt register or anything. I guess if I decide to, I should use 2000 LoW reD Si as my username huh? No really tho, I barely have time to be on one forum, let alone more. And I like it here too much to leave. When I have a question about my car, Ill just ask here.

And Marnie, THanks! Ill get better pics soon. You guys are the best!!

Take care of the impreza and it'll last forevAr just like a civic. I still see subarua station wagons and trucks from the 70s and 80s on the road today.

they're rally-bred too, which means they're designed to take a beating.

just be careful with the transmission. owners often drive 'em like they rented them.
