zune's suck

 

so do ipods... if the alpine USB input thing didn't cost nearly as much as it does I probably woulda gone w/ that

 

If ya had a JVC headunit the JVC one is only like $50

 

It's interesting that consumer reviews still rate them at the top of the market...i dont think that's standing to say they suck.

 

people hate ipods because they're popular.... it's just like people who hate music that's from the top 100 because it's mainstream.

 

i hate ipods because they are overpriced mp3 players that do just the same as other mp3 players, but are just toted as being better simply because of the apple on the back.
just because something is top of the market doesn't necessarily make them the best, it just means that the people who have reviewed them deem that as the benchmark, while others fall short or far surpass them.
so don't go labelling me someone who just purely hates it because of reasons of popularity, i hate it because of the company who is making many people 10x worse than me just because they choose to believe what advertisers are telling them to believe all the time(granted thats their jobs).

but anyways i've had(kinda pointless to use more than 1 mp3 player now) an LG player, at the time was better battery life(I think still is) than the nanos, had the same space as the nanos, didn't need any special software to transfer music over, if I got a different version I coulda got radio(but who uses that) and it cost a good $100 less. I don't buy things purely based on advertising, or popularity, or word of mouth, i buy it because it fits my need and budget. hence an ipod is cheaper than the USB attachment for my deck combined w/ a hard drive and modding a PS to the HD.
