Hi, I hve an '01 Civiv LX, 1.7, manual trans that I just put a used motor in.

When I went to start it for the first time, it started up for about 2 seconds, then died. I have tried several times, and get the same thing.

If I depress the accelerator pedal, it will rev for the 2 seconds.

No check engine light, yet.

The security light (green key) flashes when I first put in the key, but turns off after I try to start the car (maybe immobilizer issue???)

I really tink it is fuel related. I am assuminf it is priming when I initially turn the key, but when started the fuel pump is not coming on.

The battery is fully charged.

Any Ideas?
