Default 02 Civic EX Accident Help

So, I was hit in my right front yesterday. The headlight was busted and the panel is all messed up. Had to adjust the hood and will eventually need a new bumper.

It was driveable home from the accident.

I cranked it up this morning and it's idling high and has a bad vibration.

I have no idea where I should even beging to look for the cause of this.

Any suggestions?

Is the radiator intact? There could be engine damage from overheating if the coolant leaked out.

Yes it is. The only fluids I noticed were some power steering fluid.. I think the impact just pushed out the cap. The impact was on the passenger side, the power steering is on the driver side.

The dip stick for the transmission appears to be a little loose. Not sure if it was like that before or not. I never really paid attention to it. I'm trying to find one online to buy..can't find the damn thing though.

Check that pulleys on the driver's side of the engine are not touching the frame. That would indicate some frame damage.

Doesnt' look like they do. I'm going to take it on base and put it on a left next week.

In the morning it runs at 1500 RPM's..as the temp warms up throughout the day it's down around 500-700. It has a weird sound, but doesn't sound too bad. It drives fine on the hwy.

I put a new control arm on the right front where it was hit. It's making a weird bumping sound when I hit bumps. I'm going to check it out this weekend. Need to replace left control arm this weekend as well.

It is designed to idle fast at first and slow down as the engine warms up. You may not have noticed that before.

Finally got my first engine light. P1457 Evap Systems leak

Guess I gotta start doing research on it. I know it's not the gas cap.

EVAP systems leak went away on it's own. I checked a few lines on the back of the engine...lots of carbon build up. hopefully that was the cause.

New headlight assembly should come in today. Got it off ebay for 17 bucks shipped!

Need to start looking for a new bumper and both quarter panels.
