Default 06 Civic Wiper spray issue

Just bought a 2006 Civic coupe dx with 57000 kilometeres on it. And the wipers dont spray the resevior is full but there isnt even a sound to indicate that the spray motor is working. The wipers work but nothing sprays despite its fullness. I cant seem to find the solution i did check fuse box and the fuses are good.

Any chance the fluid is frozen? I don't know where you live (referenceing km indicates not in the US), but in Illinois, my nozzles will freeze from time to time even with "winter mix" wiper solution.

My fluid says -30F, and it hasn't been that cold in years, yet it freezes. It was around 0F last week and the nozzles were clogged. After the sun hit them for a while, they thawed out. I am using the cheap stuff from Walmart. The solution is pretty much water and alcohol. It never freezes in the reservoir, but near the nozzles it does. Not sure if the alcohol evaporates off leaving just water or if it is just crap fluid.

If you are using some of the better stuff (Prestone), you might be OK. If they are not frozen, and the fuse is OK, it might be the motor. Can you get the car in a garage for a couple hours to warm up? That would answer the icing question. Good Luck!
