1.6 Engine

Alrite guys, I'm looking at a 92 Civic Si. The engine was swapped in, so I'm not so sure it's actually the v-tec. I got a pic. Want to see what you guys think. Can't make out the writing on the block to see.

Vtec engines say vtec on rocker cover, that one doesnt say. Not a vtec, sorry!

but D16y8 are VTEC but it doesn't say VTEC

oh and that engine bay needs some cleaning lol

Not to mention there is no vtec solonoid.

See that white wire in the pic under the rad hose beside the manifold? Under that wire there will a small plate on the block. If you look there I think you will find it says D15B
