Default 1994 Civic Hatch Antenna installation

Installing a new radio antenna in a 1994 Civic Hatchback. Having trouble routing the antenna cable from outside to under the dash. Cable and antenna go into the hole completely but can't find the cable inside. Unfortunately I cut and removed the original, old, antenna cable. Can you help please?

that could be a problem get someone to route the cable and you get under the dash. look over near the upper part of the kick panel past the fuse panelwith a flash light you will see a small channel where it comes though it might take a few times but you should be able to get it.

Thanks for that. Will try it. I remember it's pretty crowded up there. Do you think it would be easy to somehow unmount the fuse box for more ready access?

Try using a stiff wire like an unbent coat hanger. Push it down from the top and see if you can find the end. Tape a string onto the end of the wire and pull the string up. Then use the string to pull the antenna cable down. It will probably go a lot better with a helper.

Probably shouldn't have cut it, huh..... Can you get at it behind the interior panel (A pillar)?

Yes, I shouldn't have cut it. I can't see any way to get behindthe pillar. Anyone know about this?

I would try shoveing a metal wire (like a coat hanger) down from the top. You'll need to remove the knee bolster to get a good look at.
