Can anybody tell me what is P1457 code, and why it comes on?

Are there any other problems you notice while you are driving the car? Does the engine run rough at idle?

usually when there is a problem with the EVAP, you will smell gas when he have the hood up
(but, dont mean for that to be for all cases).

no, no other problems. car has only 27.8xx miles and runs great.
