Default 2007 EX Coupe Stereo

I just bought an 07 EX last week and am having trouble with the stereo. It sound really hollow. I've read somewhere there is an external amp upping the output to 350 watts, does anyone know where this is? I've followed the wiring from the deck unit all the way to the rear speakers and mini sub and don't see an external amp. I'm starting to think that it wasn't installed but not sure if what I read on Edmunds is accurate.
Is anyone else having problems? The dealer says it rocks, but I feel like it sounds like crap, especially since they tout it as one of the reasons to go EX over LX.
Also, what's with that creepyblue light shinning down from the moonroof controls??
Thanks for any help

I am guessing that amp might have been one of those upgrades you had to pay for, but unsure on that, as I don't know much about the 07's.

In most cars, the amp is located somewhere in the trunk, or under the dash/center console somewhere. I would say a newer car would probably have a trunk mounted unit, hidden away, probably doesn't even look like an amp.

If you think you don't have it, or wonder, might be a good idea to drop by a lot somewhere and ask a service guy, they won't charge anything just to hop in and give you their 2 cents.

Dunno what else to suggest :-(
