Looking at my daughters 2009 civic, while on a trip this past weekend her air stopped working, I also noticed fuel gage is stuck in full, I also see that her oil life is still at 100% after 500 mile trip.

I know these things are not likely ( unless electrical)

her clutch is not engaging in her ac compressor, the fan kicks in when you engage the ac , it stopped working 2/3rds of her trip home on very hot day.

I checked all fuses , disconnected battery for 1/2 hour , nothing has helped

any ideas other than getting Freon levels checked and possible I believe that we have a computer control or electrical trouble ??

any ideas that I can check before taking to a mechanic
