Default 90 Civic Wagon Dome light

I have a 90 Civic wagon and the driver side rear door for some reason does not allow the dome light to go out. It will turn on and off with the door shut tight. Any ideas why this happens?

His link is very possibly correct.
But before you do all that, is your door straight when shut? Or is it sticking out a small bit? my passenger door was sticking out slightly when I got it. I just had to move the latch a little bit and now it shuts great and the dome light no longer turns on.
