Just got this 92 Civic couple of months ago,didn't see any major problems,now suddenly the transmission is acting up,when I first start it and put it in drive it's fine,but after a short drive if I shut off the engine or put the car in park or even neutral, the darn thing wont shift up forcing me to drive back at 30mph, there are no noises nothing weird other than it wont upshift,fluid level is fine and doesnt look or smell burnt,there are no cooling issues with the car.Does anyone have any idea what's wrong? Thanks

 

Any CEL codes? Have you tried draining the ATF and refilling with Honda ATF?

 

No CEL codes,fluid is Honda ATF
