The car is using oil - no evident leaks!! no smoke out exhaust, but its using oil SOMEWHERE. I changed the spark plugs & wires, and noticed thatONE spark plug tube has oil in it.

What would this indicate?? and what does the remedy involve? would this issue also cause poor mpgs?

is the oil on top of the thread of the plug? or is it on the tip??
if its on the treads and not on the tip its likely to be your plugs tube seals, they come with the valve cover gasket set if you buy em.
if its on the tip of the spark plug , its leaking inside the cylinder which could be your piston rings.

 

have you got oil also in your water...?

 

have you recently had your valve cover off?

 

Yeah you might just need a new gasket set. Easy fix.

 

same thing happened on my 93 dx..changed seals and its fine now
