93 civic dx wont start

OK I bow to you...scaredthe **** out of me but it cranked. Now the Blu /blk wire ...I tried jumping them would not do anything

I have not been into the column and I am not sure about the starter relay plug location

You've verified that the starter works (as expected from the test by the auto parts store), so now you need to pinpoint the problem. The Blk/Wht wire on the solenoid gets battery power through a relay connected to the starter safety switch at the top of the clutch pedal. Therefore, first test whether the Blu/blk wire in the connector for the switch has battery voltage with the key in ON(III).

follow your wires that come from the ignition where the key goes in.

Clearly the small wire is not getting power. There is a relay associated with the clutch switch, it's up high on the side of the car near the clutch switch. Could also be the key switch or the fuse. After the key switch it goes through a fuse to the rest of the system. As Ron suggested, neasure at the clutch switch plug without jumping the switch. One of the wires is always ground, the other one should go up to 12 volts when you turn the key to start.

ok going to unplug the safety switch again and check for 12 v

I checked the fuse in the fuse panel under the dash it was good
