my car hesitates and stalls sometimes when i come to a stop sign or red light and only during the summer time could this be the culprit too?

When was the last basic tune up done (plugs, wires, cap, and rotor)? Any CEL codes?

no codes and i did a tune up less than 6 months ago i did not replace cap though you think thats it? and im burning oil what could it be besides piston rings?

Does the CEL work?

Remove the cap and inspect the contact points for damage and corrosion.

Burning oil could also come from a blown head gasket or bad valve stem seals.

You're saying it drives OK-- normal power, etc. but stalls out when you stop the car?

yes it will stumble most of the time when i come to a stop and every once in a while it will stall

Sounds like the IACV then. That part is used to control idle rpm, if it is clogged the car will not keep running at stop signs.

ok so i cleaned the iacv and then igot a engine light on and now i have a misfire on all cylinders
