OK i have a 1995 Honda Civic 1.5 ... All of a sudden i noticed it was idlein low and its smoking white smoke ...
1st instinct said Head Gasket so i ran a compression check all 122-130 in all 4 cyclinders ....
Plugs look ok ...

I have racked my brain and what in the world would possibly create white smoke with out a blown head gasket ??

I have no check engine light at all .... never have seen it ...
The motor was not over heated im 100% sure of this , so that is what has me thinking it has to be something else ...

Has anyone had this issue or could anyone steer me in a direction ?

WOULD PLUG WIRES MAKE IT SMOKE ?
INJECTOR ?

IM LOST !!! ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED ...

smell the exhaust does it smell like antifreeze or gas ?
also 122-130 isnt a good reading

 

OK how about this ...
The smoking clears up when the AC is running ...
I just put spark plugs on it and no change .......
Stumped ..... If there was only a check engine ...
anyone else have any advice ?

U sure that its not just cold outside? Its fall here and my civic blows out white smoke through the *** cuase its chili here, smell the fuel.

 

How much smoke are you talking about? Is your oil level noticeably lower?

My hatch had the same problem, ended up being a valve that chipped.
