HELP! So my Manual 98 Honda Civic EX won't start at all.

It was fine earlier and then when we went to start it again... nothing.
AND the key does not come out of the ignition unless the battery is disconnected.

We checked all fuses. We jumped the starter and the car turns right on, but once we shut it off, the key won't come out and it won't start back up again either. We can then only remove the key by disconnecting the battery.

The neutral safety switch seems to be bypassed because we have never had to press down the clutch to start the vehicle.

Any help would be so much appreciated!
