Post acceleration probloms

i have a 91 honda civic hb with a dpfi d15b2 motor with auto trany. i was driving around town and went around a corner and loss power. it sounds and runs fine at an idle in park. However when I took it from neutral and put her in gear and started to go the engine sounded like it was being retarded and the fluttering sound came back. When I tried to open the throttle up on the road I could notice a MASSIVE loss in horsepower and the fluttering in the sound became inttermittent. It would come and go and so would the horsepower. it has no power seems to be geting good spark to the plugs. i recently had to resauder the main relay due to dry joints because it was throwing error code 16 before. could this be the same problom or somthing else. im not geting a check motor light or any error codes.what could be causing this? any help would be great.
