Add AC or NOT on an 239,000 mile Civic
I'm considering adding AC to my 93 Civic LX with 239,000 miles. Yes I know it's probably silly to add it at this age and miles however I plan on running this car for 500,000+ miles depending on how spendy it gets to overhaul the engine and tyranny down the road.
Anyhow how much of a pain is it to round up the parts for this car and install it? Or am I just better off keeping it as my winter car and finding another Civic that already has AC in it?
Any feedback would be appreciated!

Most tuners and (gasp) ricers toss the AC out...just search your local CRAIGs list and you'll probably find a sweet deal on it. It will hurt the mpg, but it is worth it if you live in hot area.
dood. I bought my 93 CX hatch with NO options, but one: AC.
my brother still drives the car with roughly 400,000 original miles on it, year-round.
life's short. No sense in sweatin' your ballz off during the summer.
get teh AC.

Please share the maintenance history on this! On original engine and tyranny? Please enlighten us all with Honda longevity wisdom. I'm planning on driving my 93 right up to 500,000
