Default ANYONE HAVE IDEAS????

Okay so Im in some need of some major help. So this morning I am on my way to school and car starts acting like it will lose power every once in a while. And so I figure I will take a look at it later when i get home. But the car decided it didnt want to wait that long. As I was passing through town the CL started flashing extreamly fast like it was on steroids. So then the motor starts missing really badly. About a minuite of that it just dies. this all happened in like an 5 minuite time span. So I coast into a parking lot in nuetral so Im out of traffic. I pop the hood and find 2 spark plug wires punched up off the plugs and (cylinder # 2&4 to be exact) so number 2 has a bunch of fluid on it ( was unable to tell what it was). So I had my dad come pick me up and take me to school. He took the keys to the shop that the parking lot belonged to and asked them to check ot out. Does anyone have any ideas? I mean as to what the fluid might mean and what cause plug wires to just pop off the plug like that i know its obvious that it will lose power since the plug wires fell off. Even after we put all the wires back down on the plugs i started the car and it was missing, anyone have any ideas?

did you recently degrease your engine? plug wires dont just pop off, unless you had a flamable liquid in your spark plug wells and a stray spark ignited it ... but the way you describe it running prior to it dying sounds like a wett dizzy cap. car will runn at first but as the water inside gets spread around it gets worse and then it dies... that or your timming belt went
