i have an '88 LX with a D16b2.
is there any problem with putting in a head from a D16b7 ???

 

I'm a little confused. The subject is B16 head swap but you are asking about D series engines. I think you mean D15b2 and D15b7, though. One issue might be that the b2 is OBD0 and the b7 is OBD1. The b7 is mpfi and the b2 is dpfi. We'll need more input in that area.

i meant to post D15b2 and D15b7 (as you figured).

you are probably right. of course, i have an obd0 with the D15b2.

will check with the seller as to what obd is in the D15b7.
