Baffled...
Ok, guys...
Same problem as last time... I've got idle surge... a CEL and poor drivability... the CEL is code 14... which according to the guide, is IAC circuit. I changed the IAC Valve... checked wiring... still getting the same thing. Any ideas? I'm baffled on this one. It looks like the TPS hooks into the same circuit as the IAC Valve... perhaps that's the culprit? I don't currently have a multimeter, nor do I know anyone with one... I guess that's my next investment.
Hopefully AutoZone will take back a used part. LOL

Thank you to the VAST amount of people who responded... I did figure it out... it was a vaccum line going from the intake plenum to the cruise control ... it idles nicely at 500-600RPM... I haven't driven it yet, but that right there tells me it's fixed.
