battery or alternater?

Default battery or alternater?
in my car, the battery light comes on, and now it stays on. the car still drives fine though. im thinking its the alternater, any other suggestions?

If it's a bad alternator, your headlights should constantly go dimmer for a few seconds and than return to normal.

put a volt meter on it while its running and see what you get.
