Default Battery Dying

Ok, so my new civic i bought (new to me anyway, 93 ex) just sits in my driveway right now. I'm waiting for my dad to register and insure it and everything down in north carolina, as I'm up here in nj for school. So i dont drive it, but i am doing some work to it and the battery keeps dying. The only wiring i messed with is the headlights, and speakers in the door panels. I noticed it was dead and i just thought i left a light on, so i charged it up, and i went to start it a couple days later and it was dead again. Also could the fact that when i was trying to tighten the positive terminal connector and accidentally hit the negative terminal with the wrench have anything to do with it? It made a good amount of spark. Also I cant get the positive terminal to tighten all the way, so im going to replace that, but other than that i dont know whats wrong.
