alright guys this is gonna be long. i ddint know where to post this because it could go in 3 places. it could go in transmission, brakes, ECU. but my car used to be automatic a long time ago but than me and my borther converted it tomanual about 3 year when i was 14 now im 17. everything is great but i never notice until 2 months ago that my brake light didnt work i mean it never bother me beofre butnowi want it to work. do anyone know if its the cluster or ECU or we didnt connect a wire right?. becasue in my car i stick have the automtic cluster and i still have the automtic gear changer thingie i dont knwo wat it is called but, if u look on the automatic cluster it has PRN D4D3 D2 the thing that im talking about is when ever i move it up it goes to park and when i slide it down it move or R or N or D4 it depend how far i slide it. becasue i remember that one time i was playign with it and my car wouldnt start i had to call my brother aand he came over and slide it back to N which is neutrla and it started.

 

Check if your brake light switch is hooked at the brake pedal. As for your safety switch from the old auto shifter, you can bypass it if you want to.

 

well when i use the old auto shifter and put it on R the reverse light come on an stay on until i put it back to neutral so i know they work i just need to find a way to hook it up to manual shifting
