Default Burning Fuel

Hi I have a 2003 Civic Ex SOHC VTEC.

Now I know it was probably stupid but I read in the manual I could run E90 in my car. I had~ a gallon and a half and i put in about 2 gallons E85. I figured it would be alright, and it ran great with the mixture. But today I was on my way home from school (about 140 miles) and I stopped to put gas in as I was running very low and when I got inI started it up (it started easy, ran fine.) But I noticed that there was awarning light on its shapped like an engine. I looked it up and it said that something in the fuel system was messed up. I had to drive the rest of the way home so I did. after I put gas in it ran at close to the samempgs but I parked my carand let it sit once at home. I let it cool off and went back out about an hour later, started it up and the warning light stayed on, so I got out and it smelled (pretty strong)like gas.

I'm worried a sensor may be off but I'm not sure.

1. Will this hurt my civic if I drive it like this.
2. how much would this cost to fix?
3. Whats wrong with it, I thought sensor but I'm not much of a mechanic.

any help would be great and if you help me out tonight it would be better so I can get to auto zone tommorrow before they close. Thanks so much in advance.
