buying a '93 - distributor/ox Sens probs?
I'm going to look & likely buy a red '93 Hatchback w/ 130k mi, looks like great condition, original owner $2,650.
My research shows:
"A common problem on this vehicle is failure of the Distributor, and an occasional problem is failure of the the Oxygen Sensor. Failure of the Distributor may prevent the vehicle from starting. The cost to repair the Distributor is estimated at $484.00 for parts and $52.00 for labor. The cost to repair the Oxygen Sensor is estimated at $130.00 for parts and $33.00 for labor."
What should I look for to determine a potential problem or if the upgrades were done? Any other problem areas?
I had an '84 CRX, put over 300k miles. Then a Jimmy 4x, now back to trusty Honda.
Thanks for your input.
