Can I get any suggestions?

Default Can I get any suggestions?

I have a 1998 Civic LX and it doesn't seem to stop to well when I have to get on the brakes to stop quick. Anytime I have to get on the brakes it immediately wants to start sliding. I know the car doesn't have ABS, but it still seems like it goes to skidding way too easy. Is this normal for this year model?

I've seen cars that age that still have the factory rear shoes. No ABS? It sounds like your hydraulics are O.K, need to inspect the wheels, start with the rear.
