cause when i get to 5500rpms the car jumps forward and races like crazy to 7000rpms then changes gear.

VTEC doesn't make your car jump forward.

I think you are confusing VTEC with the downshifting of an automatic transmission.

could be but it down shifts at different times and at 5500 rpms exactly you hear the motor get loud and boost up a little and so i un hooked the vtec solenoid and it didnt do what im talking about.

VTEC should not make the car jump forward, unless it is engaging in the wrong spot... but it's at 5500 RPM you say, so it's fine.
