Hello,

I have a 1999 Honda Civic LX and yesterday i started up my car and everything was working fine, about halfway to my destination i press the gas on my car and it starts to rev up and it doesnt want to move, almost like its in neutral. what could be the problem, it has never done this before? there is not check engine light at all

Check the transmission fluid level.

After confirming transmission is full, do a test where you put the car in gear and try to move. See if the speedometer goes up. If speedometer goes up but the car doesn't move, there is a broken CV joint or other problem with one of the axles.
