Having a very odd problem with my 98 civic dx. Has about 80K miles on it. I'll be driving along and suddenly the engine will rev/race and then the car just dies. I mean completely dies. Engine, electric, power brakes and steering. Everyting just dead. I pull it over and restart and it all comes up just fine and it won't happen again for a week a month who knows. However it has happned 3 or 4 times now so I am not driving it till I have someone look at it. Anyone have something like this happen?? Is this electrical?? I dunno. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
