GSR engine cranks but won't fire.....pulled off the fuel line to the fuel rail and turn on the ignition and no fuel. So besides a probable faulty fuel pump....can anyone think of anything else that could effect the flow of fuel???

 

Empty tank????? Clogged fuel filter???? Faulty pump??? Faulty pump relay????? Kinked / pinched fuel line?????

 

I just had an intermittent starting problem in the heat on my 94 Civic and it turned out to be a bad main relay...

 

possibly battery connection cables? jiggle them around and have a friend hold the key in ignition

 

He's got no fuel!! He says he's not getting spark, but he's pulling off the fuel rail and now he's not getting fuel. So it could be anything alon the way from your fuel tank up to your fuel rail. fuel filter, FPR(fuel pressure regulator), fuel pump, fuel pump relay(like he said), pinched fuel line. your first bet would be to go from easies to hardest so start with checking your fuel pump and fuel pump relay. then go from there.

 

its probably the relay. i havent heard of a huge problem with honda pumps dieing.

 

check the fuses to the pump and to the ignition system, mine belw one time whenit wouldnt start
