Canadian spec EX is the same as a US spec DX. As far as I know the only line that got the v-tec is Si up here but I could be wrong.
Canada :US
EXX
Si:EX
SiR:Si

I believe Canadians never got a LX equivalent, though it could be EX:LX and canadians never got a DX equivalent.... I forget

as for replacing the header, if you use an aftermarket on, it'll eliminate your catalytic converter, dunno if that's a problem up there for emissions in canada

^ and if you want to stay emmissions legal just get a universal cat and have it welded into your exhaust midpipe, it'll do the job just fine.

At this point I'm gonnna pass on the cat, prob get that when I do the rest of the exhaust. I don't have to worry about passin smog, cuz they don't test for it in my province I really hate to hook a header up to the wimpy stock exhaust. I'm curious though...will I notice a difference, even WITH the stock exhaust? (sound/power?)

Here is the one I want to get
