I have a 2000 Civic Si and the head needs to be replaced, but I am having a hard time finding a head for it.

Can anyone help me find a head for it.

**I was also told that the heads from all honda from the year'94 to present were all the same casting and that they would work on my year model.

If anyone can shed some light on this then please let me know.
I need to get this car on the ROAD ASAP.

where do you live? i ask because if its DOHC, then its totally different. but no, not all heads are the same. there are vtec and non-vtec heads, and the head from a pre 95 would lower the compression (assuming its sohc.) if its sohc, then get the head from any 96-00 sohc vtec civic. check ebay. if its sohc, then search ebay for "sohc vtec" and if its dohc, then search for "b16 head"

and after re-reading the post title, i see its a b16a, so still check ebay, but for the least headaches, get a head from a 99-00 si. you can use the head from any b16, but the easiest would be an obd2 one. sorry if i confused you, but i hope it helps.

Yes it is the dohc from a 200o civic si. I have looked on ebay but there is only one up for nid now and it still has 5 days left I will continue looking though.
