Clicking noise in front of car

RE: Clicking noise in front of car
Replacing the boot is a pain and majority of the time the replacement boot will not stay on long and like in your case wont fit right. It takes alot less time to replace both axles, than missing with the boots. The price you got from your local Midas dealer dont sound bad. But if you have any kind of mechanic skills, save yourself some money and do it yourself. Like someone said in a previous thread it only takes about an hour if you know what your doing and 2-3 if you dont. And weather permitting in your case. Good Luck

I destroyed CV joint two weeks back. What you usually do is buy a complete axle assembly. This goes from spline to spline already assembled. All you have to do is take out the old one and put in the new one.
If you get remans make sure they are NOT regrinds. Regrinds will break quickly if you are heavy on the gas.
