clutch problem
I have a civc 95 manual transmission.
This morning while going to work I was caught in a traffic jam. By the time I reached my office, it seemed that the clutch is getting free. There is some pressure when I press the paddle but it looks almost free when I release.
I had my engine replaced last week. Could this be because of an incorrect installation of the engine or is this a clutch plate problem.
Any suugestions?

Check the fluid level in the reservoir under the hood in front of the clutch pedal. If it's low, look for leaks around the slave cylinder or the hose that goes over to the right fender, since those were likely disconnected while replacing the engine.
