cv axle stuck/installation
putting in a cv axle front pass side..it is in i think about 99% of the way..i can see aspace of approx. 1/16 to 1/8 inch from the raised lip on the side of the tranny....i have pushed really hard and it will not budge...can i tap on the outside of the axle with a rubber mallet while depressing axle, to strengthen inner cv joint..i dont want to damage the inner cv joint or the inner splines in the tranny...any advice/suggestions....compo1
