I have a 92 honda dx i just got.. n when you turn the switch on for just the turns n tails the lights on the dash will work.. but it you click it 2 where the headlights come on all the dash lights go off.. is this just a simple fuse or is there more in to it?

 

It sounds a little like someone has done some wiring upgrades and chosen the wrong hot wire for the lighting supply. Do you know if the dash has ever been pulled apart, or if any wiring changes have been made?

 

I have no idea on anything on this car..I bought it off ebay for like $810 a towing place had it. i thought maybe the switch to make it bright or dim be bad but like i said they work on just the running lights n not with everything on headlights n everything
