I was driving my car with the wipers on. They were working fine. Then the driver wiper only went up a little way. The passenger works fine. The driver one is getting caught under the passenger wiper, so I moved the wiper up. With it up a little it goes over the side when it workes, then it gets stuck under the passenger wiper again. Their is no problem with the passenger wiper, it works fine. What could be causing just the driver wiper to act like this?

Problem solved, the arm was just lose. lol

I'd say either the drivers side wiper arm is lose/stripped or the linkage has let go.

 

unbolt the driver wiper arm and pull it off then turn your wipers on does the driver side turn? if so then your wiper arm was loose or its stripped
