Driver's Side Window Problem
Alright, for my first post I've decided that I'll ask a question. I have a 98 Civic EX that I bought about two months ago. When I bought it there was this glue-like stuff all over the window on the inside, it rolls up and down pretty good unless its wet, that's when it struggles to go back up.
I was just wondering if any of yall had any idea what is causing this and what I could do to fix it.

I have a 98 EX as well and its even white. There is a piece of flet on the inside of the window sill. Its the little rubber peice that you can see if you look at the bottom edge of the window from the inside. That peice of rubber has a peice of felt on it that helps the window slide up and down. When they get old the felt starts to wear off and the glue rubs onto the window. This happened on my car. I just took off the door panel and carfully cut JUST THE PIECE THAT IS BAD off. Dont go all crazy and cut off the whole piece of rubber, just cutt out the part that is bad. You will be able to see it quite clearly. The other way to do it is to get a new set of them from Honda. I checked and they are about $80 from them. Good luck PM if you need any help with it. I can send you pics of mine to help you out if you need them.
