The CV's on my '91 SI are making some racket so I thought I'd replace the whole shafts assy. It seems there's quite a bit of price variance between the different manufacturers, what's the difference ? My intended usage is a commuter vehicle, I have no interest in any form of competition or doing performance mods. Whare can I get economical replacements ?

i would think that autozone or hi/lo oreilly are about the same on that

 

get it from autozone. it' has a lifetime warranty on it.

 

^^^^^LIMITED lifetime warranty!!!!!!! I just bought a pair from those ***** and when I put them on one was bad out of the box!!!! So I bring it back they give me my new one and informed me that I had no more warranty!!!!!! F'n *****!!!!!! I was a little upset, but at least they covered it. Now If I break one or it goes bad on me, out of pocket again!! But yeah, ok off rant!!! Well anyway, yeah AZ is definatley the easiest and cheapest location for axles.
