Electrical problems

Default Electrical problems

Hey yall, I just did a b18c1 swap into my 2000 civic ex, everything seemed to be running perfect until my speedo stopped working and now when you turn the headlights on it kills the car and if it doesnt kill it, it kills all my gauges and everything stops working

any advice?

First check all the ground wires under the hood (especially the little ones on the thermostat) and the connections at the battery.

Check whether fuse 15 in the under-dash fuse/relay box is blown.

Ground sounds like best bet to me. Check any connections you messed with first. My fuse block had a lose ground wire once which caused all sorts of different lights to come on. Every once in a while they all came on and I bout peed my pants.

And pulling on things you might have loosened something.
