has anybody ever ordered one of those Japanese motor from japan are they any good or just a waste of time i need a 94 honda civic vtec motor

 

I use to buy them from a local dealer & I had good luck with them. Most of those motors are low mileage because in Japan you can only run a motor so many miles before they require you to get a new one. Has to due with smog etc. It is a law in Japan.

 

funny part is JDM engine aren’t even made in Japan..They are make in the states just made for spec for other countries. and yes JDM spec is much better than USDM spec engines all day long hands down.
