Engine Noise in speakers

Default Engine Noise in speakers

What is the best way to get rid of the engine noise in the speakers.....it seems to be the RCA cables does it mean that i have to change them?

Thats one way. You could use ground loop isolators too. You wouldnt be powering the speakers through and amp would you? If so, check RCA's and Ground wires. Also look for wires that are pinched against metal. Hope that helps.

chances are, you (or whoever installed it) ran the RCAs too close to the power wire. seperate them and it should get better.

get some new spark plug wires, thats why there are insulation over them and that is getting really bad from what you are saying, change the plug wires and you should be good to go

i have the same problem and i heard about the RCAs and power cord. im ruinning an amp to the rear speakers so is it the power cord of the amp or the power cord of the head unit?

any power cord close to the rcas will make noise.
