I just purchased a 1993 Del Sol Si. The big problem I have with it is that the exhaust is REALLY loud. It has an aftermarket tip on it with a 4.5" exit. What should I do to quiet this down to a less abnoxious level. I was considering http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HEART...1%7C240%3A1318

Also, I was wondering what a rough estimate would be for HP on the car. 93 Del Sol Si with cold air intake aftermarket headers, and 2.5 inch exhaust under the car. Anybody have a rough estimation?

 

hp maybe 100hp if not vtec D16z6

nothing really impressive.
but for a muffler your best bet to find something you might like is search youtube! youd be suprised how many videos are to chose from so just start searching and try to find a audio clip that you like and findout what setup they have...

 

Check out the Apex-i World Sport universal muffler. Get that other muffler cut off and have the world sport muffler welded on. It's just about the best sounding muffler you can get. It's like $200, but it's worth it. You can find it on eBay, and other places.


You probably have 100-110 WHP (HP at the wheels) if it's a manual transmission. If it's an automatic... probably like 90-95 WHP.

P.S. You only have one header.
