the fan in the front of my car makes a really weird loud winding noise when it kicks on to cool my car off. any suggestions on why it may do that. its loud and annoying!!! thanks

Replacing the condenser fan would be relatively straightforward; however, might the noise actually be coming from the A/C compressor?

On my 97 Civic, I had to replace both the radiator fan and the condensor in the past year. The radiaitor was buzzing pretty loud and the condensor fan stop working.
