Fuel issue??
I have a 96 1.6 honda civic with around 87000 miles, I have been having issues with what I believe is a fuel issue. Sometimes if I try to start the car up for the first time after it has been sitting for a while it will not start or start and then stall. I found if I turn the ignition to run first and listen for the fuel pump to finish running it will start better and stay running. Also if I run the car to a low fuel level ( 1/8 of a tank ) it will stall while driving or not start at all. I do not know if this is relevant or not but the D4 light just stopped working the last time it would not start and it used to go on when the fuel pump was running during first start up. i have already done a tune up ( plugs looked good ) including a fuel filter and checked the main relay for breaks in the solder and found none. Anybody have any new ideas?????
