grinding noise

Default grinding noise

Hey guys, got this little noise comming from the right front
side wheel only noticable when going slow and when I gently apply brakes I checked the pad it looks like new, It's a 98 dx coupe, I did notice the boot by the wheel had tears in the creases Is it time for axles already? any imput will be appreciated. Thanks.[&:]

I would double check the brakes, front and rear. Make sure your rotors are smooth on both sides. If that checks out, you could have a wheel bearing problem but in any case i would get the cv joint looked at and maybe replaced if the boot it torn.

exactly... thats the CV boot thats torn, but it shouldnt make noise... thats something else.
